# Hanad Kubat: fixed-price app and MVP development in Vienna

> Hanad Kubat is a senior software engineer in Vienna, Austria, who builds the first working version of a software product himself, end to end, for a fixed price from EUR 12,000 net, agreed in writing before work starts. Clients watch each piece run on a live link before they pay for it, and it goes into their own GitHub the same day. Websites are a separate service from EUR 2,000 net.

- Who: one engineer, registered as a sole trader (Einzelunternehmer) in Vienna and working under Austrian and EU law. Since 2018 he has written production code on teams at BMW, Deutsche Bahn, IBM and BRZ, Austria's federal IT centre, contracted through his own one-person business. They were not his clients and he was not their employee. Smaller companies have hired him directly.
- What a build is: one core workflow of a software product, written end to end and put live. Included: signup and login, a modelled database, an admin view, Stripe payments where the product needs them, one build that works on phone, tablet and laptop, hosting and service accounts opened in the client's name, and thirty days of fixes after launch.
- Starting points, all quoted the same way: an idea with nothing written down, a spreadsheet the business already runs on, a designer's Figma, a stalled prototype from Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit, Cursor or Bubble, or code an agency left half finished. What already exists is used as the starting point for the build.
- Prices, net of VAT: the first call is free and takes about 20 minutes. Scoping starts at EUR 1,500 and is the first payment of the build total, not an extra. One build starts at EUR 12,000. An optional care plan starts at EUR 600 a month. A website starts at EUR 2,000, with a free quote and no paid scoping. VAT is 20 percent in Austria; EU businesses elsewhere are invoiced under reverse charge.
- Terms: the price is fixed and the scope frozen when the build starts. Each piece is paid for only after the client has seen it running. Code and accounts belong to the client from the first paid piece. The client can stop at any finished piece and keep everything paid for.
- Timing: dates are set per project during scoping, and none are promised before it. As early as six weeks is realistic for a focused first version.
- Not offered at this price: a multi-role SaaS with billing tiers, admin and AI all at once; separate native iOS and Android apps; brand design from scratch; compliance certificates such as SOC 2 or ISO; equity instead of cash. If an off-the-shelf tool already does the job, he says so in his first reply.
- Technology: TypeScript, Next.js, React and Node, SQL databases, Stripe, Vercel and Cloudflare, and LLM APIs such as Claude and Gemini where a product needs them. GDPR-compliant by default, with EU-hosted servers where it matters.
